Mauviels MCook range outperforms standard stainless steel pans by miles. Every pan in this range has an inner layer of 18/10 stainless steel, three layers of heat-responsive aluminium, and an outer layer of ferritic, which makes it induction-compatible. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens its power. Unlike a lot of saucepans which only have heat-conducting metal like aluminium just at the base, this pan has aluminium all along the sides and to the edge, meaning your food will cook faster and more evenly. High-quality, scratch-resistant steel thats polished on the outside but brushed on the inside. This set features a 24cm non-stick pan with PFOA-free coating and a 28cm stainless steel frying pan; both are oven-compatible. (For more on non-stick pan care, read ourguide.) Mauviel MCook pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.

While MCook pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance. Non-stick pans, however, should never be put in the dishwasher.
