—DETAILS—

Working with whole fish can be intimidating, but the skills you gain from knowing how to prepare it are well worth the effort. In this deep dive into fish cookery, we will teach you about seasonality and how to spot freshness when buying seafood, as well as how to fillet two round fish and a flat fish. We will explore several different methods of preparing and serving fish, such as pickling (soused mackerel), curing (sea bass tartar), steaming (sea bass en papillote), and pan-roasting (sole meunire). The dishes made in class will equip you with skills and techniques youll use every time you cook fish, ensuring you know how to use all parts of the fish effectively.

Think this class would make a perfect gift? We do too that’s why we offer Cook School Gift Cards, for one or two guests, in paperanddigital formats.
