Made from the highest quality ceramic, this Jars Tourron Wide Bowl features a glazed cream interior and exterior that blends into olive green, giving it both an organic and contemporary feel. In consideration of the environment, Jars has developed a unique firing process to save energy by firing only once at 1285Crather than the standard three times. This extremely high heat makes their ceramics very robust, able to withstand dishwasher use without any effect on colour or composition, as well as resist chipping. The subtle ‘crackled’ effect on the inner polished glaze isthe company’s signature.

This piece can be pre-heated in a low oven (max 150C) from room temperature. It should not be used for cooking. Over 200C, and in particular when using oil, the crackled-effect glaze can open and may let colours of cooked foods in, making it impossible to remove.
