Description

This Hoshizaki F-422MAK ice machine provides flaked ice specifically designed for food preservation and presentation. Its slim 22″ profile allows for easy integration into kitchens with limited footprint while delivering a significant output of 485 Lbs. every 24 hours. Constructed withstainless steel, this unit withstands the rigors of a commercial environment.

The internal mechanics feature a stainless steel auger paired with a greaseless bearing design. For enhanced sanitation, the Advanced CleanCycle24 technology initiates a 2-second purge every hour to clear the system of impurities and sediment. This automated process ensures that the ice produced remains clean and safe for direct food contact throughout the day.

Operating on an air-cooled system with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, this modular head is engineered for energy efficiency. The factory-installed ultrasonic bin control ensures the machine operates only when necessary by accurately monitoring ice levels in the storage bin. This precision prevents overflow and reduces unnecessary wear on the motor, making it a smart choice for operations seeking a balance between high performance and long-term reliability.
