Our Borough Kitchen Chopping Board is designed to withstand a lifetime of daily use. Made from Richlite a mix of recycled wood fibre and resin it has been independently tested to confirm it does not have microplastics. The smooth, non-porous surface allows for resistance to deep knife grooves (where bacteria and odours can flourish). It also makes the board very easy to clean, by hand or in the dishwasher, and quick to dry. Since the material is heat-safe up to 167C, you can place hot pans on the surface when needed. The board’s natural fibre composition, thermoset stability, and long service life as well as Richlite’s dedication to scientific verification and transparency ensure its environmental footprint is minimal.
