The polymer housing holds two ceramic medium rods and two ceramic fine rods with a pre-set angle for accurate sharpening.It is small enough to throw into your bag, pocket or tackle box.

How to Use the GATCO Super Micro-X Knife Sharpener:

To sharpen your knife with the Micro-X,stand the sharpener it on thework surface with the medium rods facing up, and placethe heel of your knife blade between the two medium (brown) sharpening rods and perpendicular to the work surface. Carefully draw your knife blade through the rods with a slicing motion from heel to tip. Repeatthis 10 to 15 times. Once the blade is sharp, turn the sharpener over and repeat the same motions with the fine polishing rods on the other side.
