To sharpen your knife with theGATCODouble Duty Knife Sharpener,stand it on thework surface with the mediumtungsten carbide bladesfacing up, and placethe heel of your knife blade betweenthemand perpendicular to the work surface. Carefully draw your knife blade through the rods with a gentle slicing motion from heel to tip. Repeatthis4 or 5 times. Once the blade is sharp, repeat the same motions with the fine polishing rods on the other side.
