A copper starter set featuring a 16cm saucepan and 26cm frying pan from Mauviels durable, induction-friendly M6S range, featuring stay-cool stainless steel handles and curved rims for drip-free pouring.

—DETAILS—

There is a good reason so many chefs idolise copper: It conducts heat impeccably. In chef-speak, that means quickly and evenly, responding to changes in temperature in an instant. But because copper does not naturally attach to magnetic induction hobs, it takes a bit of expert engineering to make induction-friendly copper workand Mauviel, with their 190+ years of experience, has done just that with their M6S range. This saucepan and frying pan are clad, from base to edge, with two layers of stainless steel for durability and easy clean-up; three layers of aluminium for excellent heat-responsiveness; and an outer polish of copper for perfect performance. Both pans have flared rims for easy pouring. This is a wonderful introductory cookware set, ideal for a gift.

Mauviel M6S pans have an outer polishof pure copper thats soft by nature, and thus prone to scratches and should be handled carefully. They are finished by hand. The pans (including handles) often have minor abrasions, small black marks or scuffs as a result. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance and durability.

—BENEFITS—

Copper is a perfectionists metal. Because it responds so diligently to heat, youre able to control the exact colour and texture you want your food to be, knowing that the moment you take the pan off the heat, it will stop cooking. Precision, precision, precision. It also cooks so much faster than other pans.
