Handmade in Portugal, this black and stainless steel dessert fork from Cutipol’s Goa range is functional and elegant.

Founded in 1963, Cutipol is a family-run company that specialises in cutlery with sober, fine lines that are pleasant to the touch. Each piece is handmade in Portugal, which allows for great attention to detail and quality control. The Goa range is their most recognisable; inspired by paintbrushes, it is a balance of Eastern and Western culinary design. Every piece is made of 18/10 brushed stainless steel; it is resistant to rust, scratches and fading. The collection has sleek handles that look and feel like wood but are made from resinmaking this set dishwasher-safe. (However, it is best to minimise contact with dishwasher steam by removing it as soon as the cycle ends.) The resin also looks as good as new when rubbed with a few drops of food-safe oil.
