Peterman’s spalted wood bowls are a testament to nature’s unique beauty. Handcrafted from locally sourced New England wood, each bowl undergoes a unique ebonization process that reacts with the wood’s natural tannins, creating a rich, dark finish highlighting the grain and patterns.

Hand-carved and finished with a food-safe sealant, these one-of-a-kind bowls are both functional and elegant additions to your home. Due to the nature of spalted wood, each bowl varies in appearance, size, and color.
